Burundi, Bujumbura – The Burundi anti-terrorist special unit started field training exercises today September 4, 2017. The training aims to manage terrorist attacks.

According to OPP1 Pierre Nkurikiye, police spokesman, people in the capital city should remain calm and go about their business during this training in spite of explosion noise they will be hearing.

In a press release from the Ministry of Public Security, the ministry said that this field exercises on the management of terrorist acts will also take place on Tuesday, September 5, 2017, at the Kamenge Secondary Technical School playground.
